Because it can sometimes be so busy with us and therefore we can't always speak to you on the phone, we answer the most frequently asked questions here.

General

  • Do I need to book a children's party or school trip in advance?
    Yes. Children's parties and school trips must always be booked in advance. To do so, please contact customer service on: 085-0487627 or make an online reservation.
  • What age group is Candy Castle for?
    Children from 1 to 12 years old can come and play at Candy Castle.
  • Up to what age is there an entrance fee?
    Children from 1 to 12 years old can come and play in the play equipment at Candy Castle and for them, entrance fee must be paid.
  • Do parents and guardians also pay admission?
    No. For parents, carers or supervisors over 18 years old, entrance to Candy Castle is always free.
  • Up to what age is supervision required?
    Children of all ages coming to play at Candy Castle must be accompanied by a parent, carer or supervisor.
  • Can I pay by debit card at Candy Castle?
    Yes, you can pay by PIN preferably with us, for both entrance and catering when open.
  • Does the toddler rate also apply during holidays and weekends?
    No, the toddler rate does not apply during holidays or weekends.
  • Is the entrance fee valid for the whole day? What if I leave in between?
    Unfortunately, it is not possible to leave and return between visits. You will have to buy a new ticket.
  • Can my children stay at Candy Castle if I leave between visits?
    No, supervision by an adult is always required at Candy Castle because Candy Castle does not have a licence to operate as a childcare centre. When you leave in between visits, always take your children with you.

  • Do I need to book a children's party or school trip in advance?
    Yes. Children's parties and school trips must always be booked in advance.
  • Can I book a children's party by telephone?
    Yes, you can do this by phone: 085-0487627
  • Can I change the time of my children's party?
    Yes, it's best to call Candy Castle's service centre for this: 085-0487627
  • How should I book a children's party if there are two birthday parties?
    When booking online, enter the names of both birthday boys and girls in the field where the name of the birthday boy or girl should be entered. Alternatively, you can always call the service centre: 085-0487627
  • Do I also pay for a child who cannot attend the children's party in the end?
    No, you only pay for the number of children attending the children's party.
  • Should I inform you if the number of children attending the party changes?
    Yes, we like to know in advance. You can also inform us on the day itself at the box office that the number of children has changed. We will then make the change on the spot with you.
  • Are there enough seats for all adults at a children's party?
    Yes, there is plenty of seating for adults at Candy Castle. For every children's party, we reserve a seat for all children plus two adults as standard. Other adults can always take a seat somewhere in the hall.
  • Can I bring my own birthday cake?
    Yes, you may bring your own birthday cake. Candy Castle will charge a one-off €5.00 for this. We will then also provide forks and plates. You can indicate this when making your reservation.
  • Are candles allowed on the birthday cake?
    No, due to fire safety requirements by the fire brigade and for the safety of our visitors, no open fires are allowed inside Candy Castle.
  • Is the birthday table decorated and may I bring my own decorations or themed plates and cutlery to decorate the table?
    Bringing your own decorations is not a problem, provided our items are not damaged. Due to safety concerns at Candy Castle, the following items are NOT permitted: helium balloon, ice fountain/fire fountain, confetti cannon and candles.
  • Can I bring confetti?
    No, due to the problems with cleaning the establishment, bringing confetti or a confetti cannon is not allowed.

Food

  • Can I bring my own birthday cake?
    Yes, you may, when you have booked a party with us, bring your own birthday cake. Candy Castle will charge a one-off €5.00 for this.We will then also provide the forks and plates. You can indicate this when making your reservation.
  • Can I bring my own food or drinks?
    No, in Candy Castle it is not allowed to bring your own food and drinks due to current food safety regulations. There is an exception for children with food allergies.
  • My child has a food allergy, can I bring my own food?
    Yes, you may.
  • Is there a microwave available for baby food?
    Yes.
  • Is halal food available at Candy Castle?
    Yes, all the meat at Candy Castle is halal.

Other

  • Is there internet or WiFi available at Candy Castle?
    Yes, there is free WiFi available.
  • Can I change my baby?
    Yes, facilities for changing your baby are available at Candy Castle.
  • Can I bring my pet to Candy Castle?
    No, pets are not allowed at Candy Castle due to hygiene regulations in force. There is an exception for guide dogs and assistance dogs.
  • Is there enough parking space at Candy Castle?
    Yes, there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. For example, on James Rosskade, which runs parallel to Erik de Roodestraat. Don't forget the parking meter. On Sundays and public holidays, parking is free. Please do not park your car on the pavement or double park it.
  • Where can I lodge a complaint?
    We do our best every day to ensure everyone has a great day. In the unlikely event of a complaint, please go to the Candy Castle box office or send an e-mail to contact@candycastle.nl
  • Is an indoor play park like Candy Castle clean?
    Yes, at Candy Castle we consider hygiene very important. Apart from daily cleaning, we hold a major periodic cleaning and, for example, all balls are thoroughly and safely cleaned by machine.
  • Am I allowed to take and record photos and videos inside?
    Yes, you may, but in connection with the privacy of other guests, we ask everyone to be considerate of other guests and focus the camera mainly on your own company.
House rules

You are most welcome at Candy Castle!

To ensure everyone's safety, we ask you to consider our house rules:

  • For the protection of the children and for reasons of hygiene, wearing shoes in the play area is not allowed and wearing socks is compulsory. Even in warm weather. If you do not have socks with you, these can be purchased from us.
  • PIN payments are preferred with us. However, additional cash withdrawals are not possible.
  • It is not allowed to leave unaccompanied children (18+) with us.
  • The staff is authorised to inspect the contents of bags brought with you.

By car
